Latinx game Awards

The inaugural Latinx Game Awards is a celebration of the amazing work and accomplishments that the Latinx community have been doing in the video game Industry. From Latinx game developers, streamers, eSports personalities, voice actors, games journalists and everyone in between! The Latinx Game Awards will be a part of the Latinx Games Festival from November 21st – 22nd.

Erin Ashley Simon

Host

Erin Ashley Simon is a multi-media personality, host, producer and consultant. Her love and passion for video games, sports, music and content has helped to shape who she is today, pushing the culture forward and breaking barriers as a female in the industry. Her vast knowledge and creative mindset has led her to be tapped by well known brands and organizations such as AT&T, Nike, Columbia Records, eMLS, Forbes, Gen.G, Evil Geniuses, The Wall Street Journal, University of Kentucky, REVOLT TV, and more. Leveraging her deep rooted connections in the music, entertainment, and gaming industry, Erin looks to continue to build an intersection between gaming and culture.

Paul Tamayo is an Ecuadorian-American content producer, streamer and critic who most recently worked at Kotaku. He also streams, takes photos, podcasts, and occasionally finds the time to be a Tetris Master.

LONG BEACH PUBLIC LIBRARY

Long Beach Public Library, founded in 1896, serves a diverse urban city of close to half a million people. The Long Beach Public Library system includes Billie Jean King Main Library and eleven neighborhood libraries and a vibrant online presence. In summer of 2017, the Long Beach Public Library was awarded the National Medal for Library and Museum Services in recognition of successful community-collaborations, innovative STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and literacy-focused programs to the residents of Long Beach. With an emphasis on providing free and equal access to information and support for learning for a lifetime, the Library offers books, media, databases, Internet access, Family Learning Centers, makerspaces, and a variety of events ranging from story times to cultural programs.
